It must really be something to be the most beautiful woman in town. Not pretty, attractive, or nice looking, but just incredibly beautiful. There is a woman like that in the office and I like to observe her in action. (I know it is weird, but what can I say?).
Every time this beautiful creature moves into the room there is a buzz in the air, you can feel it. People smile at her and want to look at her. People, both men and women, are in awe of her. The beauty, the charm, the style, the elegance, wow, just wow!
The buzz, it's just incredible! What it must be to be her!
I think I read this in an interview done with Andrea Bocelli... he said that he could always tell when an attractive woman walks into a crowded room, by the change in behaviour of everyone else in the room. He could hear or sense a change in other people's demeanours. Interesting food for thought.
This is funny to me now. Here in Moscow incredibly beautiful women aren't all that rare so nobody makes a big deal about them. When I first got here it used to amaze me how men wouldn't give these women a second look. Back home there'd be several cases of whiplash.
Terms like "incredibly beautiful" or "most beautiful in town" are really subjective. I have had people talk to me about someone who is "stunningly beautiful" or something similar, and when I saw the person in question, to me they were merely attractive and in no way out of the ordinary.
Plenty of attractive people around, and again, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I'm going to assume that she is still a likable person with a little more on the ball than just looks. Because, for me, a goodlooking person can look ugly in no time flat when they have nothing else going on to keep themselves interesting.
When I waited tables an incredibly handsome man used to come in and sit at the counter and talk to no one, and a lot of my co-workers drooled, especially the single ones. One day he came in after having too much to drink, he sat in my station, and he caught me off-guard by blatantly firting with me and saying how he wished I wasn't married. What came out of his mouth and his whining slurring just didn't sound right, and he never looked the same to me since.
