Most middle age or older people I know are always telling me that they look 10 years younger than they are. They are quite proud that they look young. In reality most look their age or older.
Will you admit you actually look your age or maybe even older?
I'd be happy to, but I think I look my age. I used to look younger than my age, but not any more. Stress kills. It can also cause you to look older.
I think I look my age. Most people guess around the age that I am so I would say it's true. I have a coworker who looks much older than I think he really is---unfortunately, he is very sick right now.
I have another coworker and when I first met her I thought she was in her thirties. She laughed at me and said, "Thank you, but I'm a grandma." Now yes, some people can be a grandmother in their thirties but she laughed because I was so off with her age. She has aged well but also she dresses in a way that makes her look younger. (Not inappropriate.)

I have felt I remained looking younger over the years from what many always thought and told me, which was flattering. I suppose I would like to believe it is still the case. However, being aware in recent years how things have caught up with me... I'm not fooling myself. I will wonder sometimes how I might come off to others. So, do I think I appear older than I am? Uh...
I do think though that genetics play a role, besides habits, so some may be more youthful, but in time, we experience changes and though having it promoted to "try to stop the process", there is ultimately not much we can do. (Sadly, there is not a positive view of aging).
I think I look my age. I work outside frequently and am fair skinned so I think thats a win. At 43 I am starting to get fine lines on my forehead, but none around my eyes. I credit that to always wearing a good pair of polarizing sunglasses. Shows how much aging is really sun damage.
Yep I'm trying to make sure I wear only polarized sunglasses. Not only do sunglasses apparently prevent sun damage around your eyes, but I think they may also keep you from getting cataracts. I'm no doctor, though.
Personally I think I look my age, but multiple people have told me that they thought I was in my 20s. That is probably because some kids nowadays look older than I did when I was their age. IMO maybe they wear more makeup or are chubbier than we were at that age or something. To be honest most of the teen girls I see are slim and youthful looking, but the twenties seem to be a bit older looking and have on a bit more weight in general.
I will say that my Generation (born in 1957) most of us look "younger" because we are not like our Mothers at the same age.
We seem to stay more current in fashion and make-up. Most of us don't do "old lady dresses".
