I say get them if you want. Wear what you like. Your wife may think they look dorky, but surely she's not going to rant about it, or divorce you. I am sure it's not that serious. Long as you're not doing anything illegal, or financially unstable, you're fine.
They glasses look fine to me. But different things look different on different people. I recently got a nice pair of tinted glasses that I love. And I wear them whenever I leave the house.
Good luck. If you get them, I hope you enjoy them.
Ah, but you don't know wives, do you? Or perhaps your wife isn't like that. I'm an optician and we carry Ray-Bans in our optical. They sell like hot cakes in our store. I like your first choice OP, because it looks different from everyone else. Show your individuality! People wear the Aviators and Wayfarers all the time. I agree wear what you like (as long as wife approves haha) but it's also important the frame also should be suited to your face shape and fit your face well.
Ray-Bans are narrow, and they are too tight a fit on some men. Please do not make the mistake of buying them for the brand, only to have them fit too snugly on the side of your head because that can cause a headache. They may be comfortable for 10 minutes in the store, but will they also be comfortable for 10 hours? As for the second pair, if you're getting prescription lenses in them, I don't recommend that type if you have more than 1.00 D of astigmatism. The curvature of the lens can cause visual distortion, giving you blurred vision. Flatter sunglasses give you much better optics if you have significant astigmatism. I hope that helped!
I like wraparounds, and I had a pair of Ray-Ban wraparounds, but they were really way too small, so when I got a new prescription I switched to Serengeti Drivers. More of an aviator style with a bit of wraparound.
I have a new vision prescription so I'm in the market for wraparounds that will fit better. If anyone has any ideas for wider frames in a wraparound style I'd love to hear about them.

The second pair are alright. The first pair I don't like, if you want something like that with those lenses go with the classic Aviator.
