So, I want to get a pair of "classic" Ray ban sunglasses. These...to be exact....
My wife doesn't want me to do it. Says they're dorky. They're not wrap-around, like most sunglasses are these days. Old school. But that's kind of why I like them. I'm kind of old school.
Currently my favorite sunglasses are another Ray Ban classic:
If I were to wear them, the 2nd pair would be my choice.
As far as 'dorky'.....as soon as a celeb wears anything it becomes the "trend".
Look at eyeglasses; they're back to the old 50s-60s Buddy Holly horn-ribbed style with big lenses. In a few years that fad will change as well and anyone who continues looking like Buddy Holly will be considered "dorky".
Choose the pair that you like. I just don't get all of these so-called fashion rules that people come up with. . sounds pretty grade school to me.
I say get them if you want. Wear what you like. Your wife may think they look dorky, but surely she's not going to rant about it, or divorce you. I am sure it's not that serious. Long as you're not doing anything illegal, or financially unstable, you're fine.
They glasses look fine to me. But different things look different on different people. I recently got a nice pair of tinted glasses that I love. And I wear them whenever I leave the house.
Good luck. If you get them, I hope you enjoy them.
