Okay you are in a super hurry to go somewhere, but still have a few seconds to put on 1 form of makeup. What would you go for? I had to rush this morning and forgot to wear mascara and man was a difference . I forgot my mini mascara I keep in my purse and already had eye shadow on ( I even tried using a clear lip balm to shine my eyelashes ... but that did nothing). Luck woukd have it once at work I found my emergency make stash in my desk drawer in my office so I was back in business again lol

My vote would be Mascara. If I had a second vote lip gloss.

Eating a big bowl of fresh green spinach or kale daily makes for a radiantly beautiful face. No makeup needed! Much less expensive too, when superfoods & "makeup" are covered in one expense

My one form of makeup to put on is none and has been none for about 20 years now, no rushing, no panic over nothing, less stress, more cost effective.

Try it for a month and I challenge you to see how beautiful your bare face becomes after eating a big daily bowl of fresh dark green leafy vegetables. It's no joke!

Hah, I eat leafy greens daily, yet I somehow still have blonde eyelashes that require accenting with mascara in order to be visible. LOL at eating veggies making cosmetics redundant.

I wear close to natural licky. Usually nothing at all, since I seldom leave my house.

Foundation is it for me...I'm red and blotchy and I need foundation to even it out. And I eat leafy greens all the time. They don't do anything for the redness on my face.

Me, too.

I've never been a "beauty" so I don't fret over make-up. For those of us "who learned the truth at 17" (1970s song reference there), cosmetics just aren't too exciting.

BTW, you know about the roots of make-up, right?

Its history goes back thousands of years when women would apply concoctions to their eyes and cheeks, hoping to emulate the look of the post-orgasmic flush because it was believed that men found this alluring.

Think about *that* next time you're applying eyeliner and blush!

You're trying to doll yourself up to make it look as though you just finished an especially fun game of slap and tickle!
