Hermes orange!

Love the belt!

My current handbag is orange. Today my shoes are also.

Yep Hermes Orange.

I was wondering if anyone else would recognize that or If I were color blind .
I think the brown shoes would go best but wear what makes YOU feel the best .

Sorry, to clarify, this is the color of the items I would be wearing:

Belt:

Shoes:

I would be dressing up in a shirt and tie. So my tie could be another color (blue, green, yellow, a plaid design, etc).

Hard to tell without seeing the rest of the ensemble, but that belt could look quite bright and stand out a bit depending on what you wear it with.

Of the two belts you showed, the bright orange one is awful and I would advise against ever wearing it.

Assuming you're wearing khakis or something like them I don't think there's any problem wearing the British tan belt and those topsiders.

If you're going with a 'colored' belt, then no. If you're talking about formal wear or anything remotely formal and you're dealing with more traditionally colored leathers, then yes I think your belt and shoes should always match.

I say this as someone who breaks a lot of men's fashion 'rules' as long as I cam confident in the outfit. But when it comes to walnut, oxblood, bourbon, black, etc. with a suit or a pair of dress pants and a dress shirt, they really should match as closely as possible or it almost always looks sloppy.
