yes I agree change the buttons yourself . It is not hard to do . my 83 yr old aunt can still sew a button and I know if she has the sense to do it , you can too .
I own a fedora and a pageboy and a newsboy hat and a straw for the summer and I certainly do enjoy them and wearing them . Who cares what people say , do they pay your bills ? heck no so wear what you want .
Hats can look really sharp and cool and stylish, if you know what styles work well on you.
I wish women still wore hats - I was born in the wrong century.
Women DO still wear hats! Half the grocery stores I go to sell women's hats, and one of the Pharmacies does, too. And the fashion boutiques downtown sell nice hats. Go online to stores like Nordstrom's, maybe even Macy's, you'll see a selection of women's hats.
