Has not the fashion to be slender gone too far, for universal leanness may displease us?
Don't those women that are modestly plump seem natural and the more attractive?
And for them with the posture for it, does not a bit of portliness look dignified!
A man that's low in adiposity may get me believing that he's mean; and a woman that's skinny makes me think that she's slightly dehydrated: I wouldn't wish to be her mate
But a portly or even chubby girl can look great in fitted clothes: it's as though meaty female flesh can be subtly-moulded to look even more attractive

To me some of the entertainers and models I see look positively emaciated. I think it is more important to be fit than skinny.
For some of us, being skinny is impossible. But we can be fit.
And I don't mean we should overeat. I think most Americans eat too much, except for those who diet as a way of life. I don't want to diet as a way of life, but I don't want diabetes either. Moderation is key.
But some of us will never be really thin. And if we ever succeeded in becoming thin, maintaining that weight would make for a miserable life.
I'm pretty sure no one wants to be plump so you should quit trying to glorify it in all your proud to be plump threads . I would rather be fit and healthy any day than to be a walking heart attack with fat rolls who can barely move..

Don't some cultures glorify fat people? Maybe that's what the OP is thinking...but I admit I am getting tired of this topic. I am not *against* fat people, but I don't think it's something to glorify either. It's so darned unhealthy...and yes, I need to drop some weight myself.
