That's the reason you see a dermatologist; he or she can recommend or prescribe something or some things to improve your condition.

I used the product because it was recommended as a good gentle cleanser. It's available at Target and the bottle says it's for all skin types. Its not something you need to see a dermatologist to be able to use, and it's not just for eczema.
As I said, I have not had previous issues with my skin, so I had no reason to see a dermatologist to improve my condition. There was nothing to really improve, I just wanted to try something different.
