QVC often features one-piece swimsuits, and they always look so nice. I just did a search on their site, and there are still a lot available. You can click on "video" to view the on-air presentation, and read reviews for different brands/styles, too.

I mentioned that site earlier. Also, right now, because it's midseason, they have a lot on clearance. My current suit got a hole, so I'm looking for another.

Nice selection but it appears it is for the plus sized woman. The OP is only needing some tummy control.

I find a one piece makes me look worse, and I much prefer a two piece even a tankini is nicer .. and hides any stretchmarks..

I have had a C-section. I can sympathize. I am at my right weight, but I need something done to the pouch of lose empty wrinkly skin that is my lower abdomen.

I have two suggestions - none on them frumpy in the least. Classic and sexy, in an understates way.

Modcloth.com and Esther Williams sell sexy, vintage inspired one piece suits that are very forgiving in the tummy area. The generous ruching in the mid section, cover a multitude of flaws. They are actually very popular with the 25-35 crowd.
They are about $78 at each of these sights

They are good about returns.

My second more budget friendly go to swim suit, is anything one piece by Liz Claiborne. She sells her suits at JCPenny. They are on sale now for 40% 60% off. About $30.

I am pretty loyal to these brands.

I agree, I think every woman is self conscious about her stomach a bit, but I found one pieces make my stomach looker bigger, I wear two pieces now and love them. venus catalog makes a cute adjustable bikini bottom that comes in tons of colors, that you can adjust as high or low as you want. I have a big butt so the skimpy string bikini bottoms don't work out for me too well lol.

Also Ujena makes reallly nice ones but they are pricey but IMO worth it.

I also like the "Beach Diva" line...since i have a pool in my community, I have accumulated quite the bikini collection

Or, just put that bikini on and defy the world. If anyone complains, point to your kids and say "Yes, I got that tummy by making these lovely children".

And if it's the kids themselves who are complaining, tell them what ungrateful brats they are.
