I have noticed if a gal was filled completely out while in school she tended to overfill by middle age! The hidden chested (looked sort of flat in clothing) gals seem to fill out and be a perfect sizeby middle age. And I am not talking about the obviously cosmetically done ones who look ridiculous. Those types are busty, overly made up, and a lot sadly chunked out to boot.

What a horrible thing to say.

Do you realize how many breast cancer survivors have implants?

The fact that you call women 'gals' is all I need to know about you. Sad.

I call BS and take all these accounts with a grain of salt.

People tend to exaggerate how good they look.
Yep. I look like a middle-age woman and a lot like my mom and grandmother. It is what it is. I try to take good care of myself with sunscreen, good nutrition, and exercise, but the fact is that I'm fifty and perimenopausal, and that means I no longer look like I did when I was twenty, which is fine by me. I've earned this body, and I'm impressed by all of the marvelous things it has done in this wonderful life, including give birth to three great kids.

I'm bothered by the parade of insulting threads about women that seem to be cluttering up the forums today. What is that about?

Agreed.

My grandma looked *great* My mother aged fairly well, too. not as good as grandma, but my mother eats 100% sweets.

I argue that diet, lifestyle and stress have a lot to do with it.

Clean living makes a person look a lot younger, IMO.

Heavy drinking/partying takes its toll - look at Lindsay Lohan.

I looked *a lot* younger than I was for a long, long time..

Exercise, diet, genetics, and mental outlook all play a role in how we age.

I did not read every response but what I did see a lot of is ~ "I take great care of myself and I look fantastic." Ah yes....the internet. Where the average guy has a 7" chub according to polls.

I suspect that a lot of the "built women" here are actually middle aged, pot bellied LEO's hunting for prey.

BTW...this poll carries the scientific validity of my dogs barking decimals and frequencies. Grade: F-

No, that's not what I wrote above. If you read again, you'll notice that I said I look like a middle-aged woman whose body is changing as she enters perimenopause. I made no such claim to looking "fantastic." I think I look my age. Not fantastic, but certainly not terrible. I'm me, in the body I've earned, which has a few wrinkles, a few gray hairs, a thick waist, and breasts that are no longer exactly where they started, if you know what I mean. Thank God for supportive bras!

Come on. Do you really think your rant is backed up by stats? Look gal, lady, person, female, human, or whatever the hell you want us to address you as. The FACT is we live in a age where perfectly healthy people are altering, and in my opinion often mutilating, perfectly good and beautiful bodies...

If I see and/or hear another female brag about the plastic baggies she had some butcher stick in her body for thousands of dollars just to compete with all of her Facebook pals, girlfriends, Hollywood stars I am going to lose my lunch!

Yes. Much to your surprise, some of us would prefer to look lovingly even at our cancer ravaged bodies/wives than conform to the latest standard of faked beauty/body and touch plastic baggies filled with Budda knows what!

BTW, I am originally from a big city in Northern California. You have the nerve to accuse me of what you are so obviously guilty of. Get a life lady! And for Pete's sake, lady, get rid of the phony boobs!

Nah. My sister and I are both aging better than our mother, mainly because we have better health/are nonsmokers. We also had better healthcare prenatally and during childhood than she did.

There are lots of variables.
