Wow I would think there be more people who think they are sizzling hot.
When I wore a casual summer one, I was surprised that some guys thought it was sizzling hot, and I wasn't wearing it for that reason. I had no idea, lol. But for some reason, it got me attention (which never happens!), and I noticed guys looking at me from their cars in traffic, and so forth.
I love them. But I do have a lot of issues with the hems getting caught in the casters of my chair at work. Same problem with long skirts. I would wear them a little more often if it wasn't for that.
What do you guys think about Maxi Dresses?
They look good or not so much?
By "maxi dress" do you simply mean any dress with a hem cut at the woman's ankles or at the floor? Or do you have a particular style as well as hemline in mind?
There are so many kinds of styles of long dress, anything from a simple long cotton knit "island style" sheath to wedding gowns. I think most any woman kind find some style that looks fetching on her, and at the same time any woman can find a style that looks atrocious.
If a woman has the figure for it, smooth and clinging fabrics can be sexier than showing bare skin.
They look fine as long as they aren't too long that they are being walked in and torn on the bottom.
LOL. This reminds me of my husband's medical appointment the other day. He told his doctor that he had lost height, and she retorted that she changes height so much during her normal work shift that she has to change the angle of her rear-view mirror in the afternoon from what it was in the morning.
I guess that, just like shoes, since our feet expand later in the day, we women have to now start trying on long dresses after work, when we are at our shortest.

I wear em for comfort. Boho Style! Ease of comfort. Never tripped over them with the hem or had any malfunctions. I think most ladies that wear them do so for simplicity. Casual is comfy!

I love boho style fabric maxi's. I have a few of them. Great with a pair of sandals and a simple cotton top (not over doing the boho look)
I am seriously jealous of women who wear maxi dresses.
They look so comfortable and pulled-together, and would hide my ugly white legs, but I'm too short and round to wear them.
I've tried!
eh, I pay attention to my own closet and don't worry with others and what they wear.
As long as no one sticks their pieces and parts out or in my face in public, whatever.......
Because I don't like my calves, they are probably the only dresses I like to wear. I don't really care for wearing dresses. But I do think they are pretty flattering on my body.
