It depends on the man. Some look good with stubble. Some look good clean-shaven. And some can pull off both nicely. Like hairstyles on women. What looks great on one lady, could look like a complete mess on another, because she just doesn't have the face, or head for it.
Only thing I can say for now, is that I hate long beards. Like the following http://ic.pics.livejournal.com/silve...07309_1000.jpg
Or even less drastically, Like Conor McGregor. Don't care for that either. Haven't seen any men who looked good in that.
I mostly prefer clean shaven. But it does depend on the man. I can't stand "stubble" on my husband, or any kind of beard, but he looks great with a mustache, which he has.
I especially don't like beard or stubble on a guy who is bald, whether naturally or shaved head. Need to be smooth all over!
If he is growing a beard or mustache, that's one thing. But to be lazy about shaving, no thanks. Would that same man be ok with a woman who let her legs go to stubble? Same thing. Take some pride in one's appearance. What's good for the goose is good for the gander. Shave it or grow it long (but do the growing while out fishing/camping without me).
do the ladies think it looks more masculine when a man hasnt shaven and has a few days of stubble? or do they prefer a fresh clean shaven look?
I noticed a lot of men look like slobs when they dont shave regularly or get a hair cut.
I want clean shaven
