I've ordered Konov brand jewelry from Amazon before and been fairly pleased with it, except for one ring that had the stone set crooked.
You are absolutely right. The piece I lost in a way that I will likely never find again of a THAT one really does look better than the ones I found. I appreciate you.

Its been on backburner for YEARS but I really want another. Im on the hunt.

I have Konov stuff too. Pic: (The watch is some French name)

My necklace wasn't stolen, I stupidly lost it and I really cant think of anywhere it would be. Its been more than two years and it is gone. The piece was from 2010.

This is going in a bit of a different direction but maybe has a bold enough feel to it?

I hope.

I also really like the progressive alternates. But do you think I found replacement with that item I just purchased? It almost seems hard to tell. Is there a black outline?

The black line is the silver oxide part.

Ahh.

Well, I looked at it a little closer and its not exactly the same. But im focusing on search terms "Pyramid studs" and "cross pendant."

I can almost guarantee you it is discontinued from Kays.

You can always get the piece custom made by an artisan at Etsy. I have artisans custom make jewelry for me many times: rings, bracelets, nose rings, even my engagement ring and wedding band! The artists will even do it for you at no extra cost as long as you find an artisan who designs pieces similar to the ones you want copied. Just do a keyword search for what you are looking for, find an artisan you like, and send them a request for a custom order, along with a picture. I love the things I have had made. I don't suggest you going the premade route because you probably won't get a piece similar enough to the one you lost for you to be happy with it.

!!!!!!!!!!

I did not know this.

So. Based on your experience.. could I send the artisan those, and more, pics of my necklace, and then move on to the ring? The thing I bought yesterday cost 5 bucks and the alternate ones look cool, but they still dont have the bling of how the light reflected off the stones of the original. Im starting my life over and I like to think I have enough photos to give a really good idea of the piece.

You feel it can be done? Maybe even with White Gold this time?

Yes. I have been happy with my experiences. Just send as many pics as you can and be specific about what you want done. You may need to have several email exchanges with them and it will take time to be completed (as much as 4 weeks if the piece needs to be cast), so be patient. It helps to choose artists with a good review rating. I mostly chose jewelers from overseas (Turkey and Israel) but also used two in the US. I was equally satisfied with the jewelers from the three countries.
