Each man grows his own beard as unique as he is. Some have gaps and patches, some grow as thick as the hair on their head. Once you give the beard time to grow (3-6 months), it can be appreciated no matter how sparse IMO. I never thought I could grow a beard because I never gave it enough time. Once 30 days hit I felt embarassed and shaved it off. However one day I just let it keep going and lo and behold I grew a full beard granted there are some gaps, but it is appreciated as uniqueness. I imagine MOST asian men who do not sport beards do so because they have never given it the time. There is a period within the first few months where it just looks down right ratty. Once it fills in, it can be trimmed into a style that complements the individual. I sport a blonde beard which made me go from baby face to rugged looking as my woman tells me. She won't let me shave it off!!!
Same goes for the stash. It takes time for a lot of men as not all the hair grows at the same rate. Just keep trimming the across the bottom of the upper lip with scissors and give it 3-6 months. Now I sport a glorious blonde stash too
Because Asian skin is darker which means their skin is also thicker, more difficult for hair to grow lol.
Seriously, I assume you refering to Chinese or similiar asians .You seldom see because there are fewer Asian guys than white guys that can pull off the beard or goaty looks, without looking like a murderer or lecherous . The facial hair can easily make or break the asian face due to the dark color.

Some guys will almost always have stubble, others always have smooth skin after shaving. I've known many guys that have facial hair and once it's shaved off, their skin is smooth and there are no "black marks". I've also known guys that always have stubble marks.
I was wondering if during some periods there have been taboos against facial hair in Japan. For example, it's probably associated with the Ainu (a weird, scorned quasi-white minority group). As usual, I'm onto something... https://www.tofugu.com/japan/japanese-mustache/
Us Native American guys seem to have a harder time growing full beards than Asian guys.
Agree- My husband can only grow a goatee and extremely sparse hair on the rest of his face (where you'd expect a beard, at least). He looks great with a goatee though, so it works for him! (he's Native American)
Im in shock at this silly thread.. of course they have facial hair, many have beards and moustaches, is this a joke thread.
