Okay, honestly. I thank you for the responses guys... the first time I read them, I guess they kind of took me off guard.
As far as the piercing, I'm really not sure on it. I was just kind of throwing around an idea, and tbh, I'm not sure anything but an eyebrow piercing would really work. I'm not really sure how I feel about it... just wanted to get some feels on it either way.

You left out that little tidbit in your OP. Why do you want to label yourself as a specific "type"?? What's the point? And obviously you're not really the "type" or you'd have done it already [back when it was a fad]
Maybe septum? Nothing too thick, possibly open ring. Easy to hide too if necessary. That or (center?) lip piercing ---- just my taste...
For the record, I have struggles with depression as well. I don't think the OP thinks that a piercing is going to fix/change/save his life. But - Sometimes you just want to change things up a little (if you can't currently do a lot). I recently dyed my hair - not life-changing, but just something a little different.

Are you trying to go cold turkey off the benzos? I hope not because it is a long process and you need to gradually wean yourself off of them. Going through the same thing right now with Ativan.
Nobody is judging you, we are just telling you not to do something drastic while you are in a depressed or anxious state.

I guess I just expected people to be like "Ohhhh this would work.. this would look good... go for an eyebrow piercing!, etc etc" and then I got the replies I did lol.. No big deal. I'm just a moody mess after having completed my Valium taper a few months ago... and having spend many month tapering off of it.
..and yeah, I just kind of want to do something different after having been sick on psych drugs for so long.
I understand completely. Do something less drastic; maybe cut and/or color your hair, cut your beard, buy some new clothes especially a blue shirt to make your blue eyes really show. Good luck.
I would consider you a very good-looking young man who does not need to do anything to his face.
But if you simply have to get something pierced, why not your ears? You could wear a small gold dragon or something similar in each ear. It would look pretty cool.
