Anyone know much about Sam Edelman brand shoes? Are they normally comfy? Do they run small, tight, etc.? I'm used to the good quality comfort brands, such as Born, Merrell, etc., so will I like these?
Well, I ordered 2 prs of his sandals. One was OK enough to keep as long as I put insoles in there OR cushion heel insoles. The other pair is going back.
I won't buy any more of this brand anymore. The sandals are quite flat & stiff.
I owned a couple of pairs of Sam Edelman shoes quite a while back and eventually ditched them because they weren't comfortable at all. I was out shopping recently and ended up purchasing a really nice looking pair of Sam Edelman boots, with the intention of only wearing them when I won't be on my feet for an extended length of time. I am strongly considering padded inserts for these boots as well. Like you, I'm accustomed to the comfort of Born shoes.
Yes, Sam E. has such cute, embellished sandals, but yeah, too UN-comfy for me, too bad! And forget getting something that goes between the toes...the material is sharp & hard.
I need to get a nice pair of black, leather boots to wear a LOT & they sure won't be THIS brand!
I have a Sam Edelman boot. They were pretty comfy for the first let's say 6 months. Now they suck and need insoles. If you generally get Born, you will find them exceptionally uncomfortable. If you get Nine West or Aldo, you'll find them to be about the same or better. But you do need to look for comfort features - padded insoles, leather interior etc. You can't just blindly get them.
Yeah, I don't care for Nine West or Aldo either, those are too uncomfy/cheap for me. I used to wear them when I was younger & before my severe ankle injury (Achilles tendon rupture). Even Aerosoles aren't the comfiest. I view them at the cheapest of the comfort brands.
Try Corso Como! And Sofft. These are "stylish" comfort brands! My corso Como slingbacks are uber comfy. They tend to have leather soles, so keep that in mind. Nice padding. Ecco can be great too, but stylishness varies.
Lucky Brand boots have been surpsingly comfy with the rubberized sole. As for hard soled boots? Rag and Bone is super comfy.
Never heard of Corso Como, I don't think, thanks. Sofft, I have a couple of them too. They're pretty good.
I've always wondered how Lucky brand was. I've heard of rag & bone...really pricey, but maybe I'll try them too.
