I have three scents that I love, but none of them smell good on me personally. They are all perfumes my grandmothers and mother adopted as their signatures:

Shalimar
Youth Dew (Estee Lauder)
Chanel Mademoiselle

I have not found the "One" just yet. I alternate right now between Chanel Chance, and Tocca Stella (I wore this on my wedding day and I have never smelled anything quite like it). I smelled Tresor on a friend the other day and loved it.... I might try a small bottle.

I have smelled some great fragrances on others, however when I tried them they smelled horrible on me.

Shalimar is a scent that I can always recognize and it kind of makes me think of the past but in a good way. I love the gorgeous bottle, too, one of the most beautiful bottles I have ever seen.

I collect niche, bespoke and indie fragrances. I don't have a single favorite or signature scent; I have many favorites that are mood and season dependent. I like a variety of styles/fragrance families. Right now I'm loving animalic and musky florals and really deep, delicious vanilla/creamy fragrances. I find these incredibly comforting.

Current fall/winter favorites: Dusita's Oudh Infini and Indult's Tihota.

White Shoulders is still available, and brings back some good memories of wearing it. Hmmm, maybe I'll buy some of those 'oldies' but goodies.
