The wedding is in Nashville, Tennessee. I'm thinking it's going to be pretty cool but not freezing cold or anything. I don't think I'll be comfortable in bare legs...and on top of that, my legs are pretty pale right now, so I don't mind covering them up with tights anyway. She told my husband that khakis and a nice button-down shirt would be fine, so I think I might feel a little underdressed in denim.

So, I'm thinking a nice sweater dress with tights and boots or booties.

Wear nice jewelry and get a manicure, and I think you will be good. They dress up a little more in the South,no? A backyard chic wedding in Portland would more casual, I think.

Have fun!

I went to a casual wedding a few years back,,,,a pig roast and a beer keg in the back yard..

outside of the one vegan that got a little offended at the menu.... it was a lovely wedding and reception

we wore casual flannel,,,this was in the fall...I was kinda waiting for someone to show up with hunter orange on...

the most important part is for the two people getting married...to have a memorable day
we were guests and had a great time
