Another retailer bites the dust.

Seems like all the stores will be closing within the next couple of weeks. Everything in stores and online 50-75% off final sale.

It's too bad. I've gotten many things from The Limited over the years and will miss them.

I was shocked to see this......I used to shop there a lot in the late 90s early 00s for my work stuff.....the quality of their stuff was better then...I noticed the last few times I went in the one by me, it was pretty much empty.

And when I passed by a few days ago, they had a sign "everything must go, including furniture" and then I googled to see that they were going out of business. Sad.

Awww. I used to like their stuff. I bought a lot of work clothes from them when I first entered the workforce.

I also bought great stuff there. Where are we going to get out Olivia Pope clothing now?

All of those stores have lessened their offering...cheaper materials..horrible construction....I can't pay big bucks for less and less. That's ok..they will come back as something better in the next year or two...no worries!

I have a Black Limited sweater I bought secondhand that I like very much. It is a shame to see brands go.

Wow. I too remember it from way back (maybe the late 80's definitely the 90's). They really were the be all and end all then. Such cool clothing, very good quality. I still have a few pieces from back in the 90's. Still look beautiful. Yes, a few are too small for me now but oh well. Their quality really went down like most other places. Still what a shame.

All the stores are closing, when did this happen. Is it just the normal --Limited or outlet as well? My local mall has Limited outlet & I just got 2 nice sweaters on black Friday. Yesterday I went to a different mall n saw store closing sign with 80% already gone. I thought it was this specific location. Although I only recently started shopping in Limited and Limited outlet, it always seem like great store. I love the outfits they out together, so professional. For me it was always goal to shop in those store

Yup. I haven't actually bought anything there since the 90's...

In high school that was *the* story to get clothes from.

That, and with George Michaels passing...the 80s really have died *sniffle*
