Many of the males being used currently are youtube makeup gurus. They are doing their makeup just like many of the female youtube gurus. Honestly not many of the youtubers do anything that is really wearable for real life.

Agree. I am trying to figure out where everyone is going with all that makeup.

Who cares? This isn't 1960.

I figured it was like runway fashion, extreme for the sake of the art, eventually filtered down to something more wearable for those of us in "the masses."

Unfortunately, though, most women aren't THAT good at contouring, and I see too many who don't realize that but still try.

Bruce Jenner was always a trans woman, just closeted. She is Caitlyn now and it affects absolutely no one but the Jenner and Kardashian families, basically, and people should just leave her alone.

And to the OP for just having to be THAT person who says "Bruce Jenner."

There are men who can do makeup better than I can. Gay, straight, trans, whatever - some men like it and have a knack for it. I have no problem buying makeup made or sponsored by men.

Jeffree Star has some INTENSE highlighters that I would love to use IF I were bold enough to try. He models his own makeup so well. I watch his YouTube channel sometimes for his tutorials and looks and they're very bold and the opposite of what I like but he is so fun to watch.

So true - it's kind of like "makeup porn" - it looks cool and dramatic online but you try it in real life and it just doesn't work!

I'll be content if I can get a smoky eye down.

It's the same as those celebrities who hawk their anti-aging creams. The same ones who go in for botox, face-lifts, injectables, etc. They are scam artists, and the gullible people just keep giving them their money.
Don't forget Photoshop! Every celebrity photo is HEAVILY edited in Photoshop.

Um ew.....yeah I would not buy anything they're selling.....definitely not my kind of product. I'm not a man so why do I want one to sell makeup to me? They're not selling me anything! They're turning me off!

Yeah, that's the one I was thinking of back around the beginning of this thread. Knew only that it wasn't James Charles. I don't know who that is. Will Google later, if I can still remember. If I were to do that now, unfortunately the iPad mobile version of CD keeps booting me out, and I have to sign in again.

Have no problems with men advertising make up as there are quite a few that work in the fashion industry/entertainment (movies) that are make up artists. I have a slight tremor most especially with my right (dominant) hand, so some are much better with applying than myself.
