I actually passed a young woman in PJ's at Walmart who reeked of sweat, urine, and semen.

( imagine what her trailer house reeks of )

No, I'd never wear pyjamas out in public! I've seen some of my neighbours in their pyjamas, and it's not a nice sight!

Every night when I walk the dog very near our home. DH wears his around the neighborhood when he walks the dog in the am, including when he ventures over to our neighbor's houses for morning coffee. His version of PJ's is a t-shirt and pajama bottoms. I regularly throw away the t-shirts when they get stains or holes - whether he likes it or not.

But out of our neighborhood - NEVER.

I'm not sure why I felt this way, since, if a person is wearing clothes, what difference does it make what kind of clothes they are?
I was thinking, "no, I wouldn't go out in my pajamas" but this post reminded me that yeah, in a hotel situation where there's coffee and breakfast in the lobby, I'll throw on flip flops and a hoodie to go down and get my free yogurt.

Nah, I'd still get dressed first. It doesn't take that long to get dressed. Well, that's what I think anyway...

All of my clothes are reused a time or two. Socks and underwear less so, but more than occasionally.

I don't sweat that much at night.
And when I do, I'm usually NOT wearing my PJ's.

It still has a funk inspiring look to them. That half slept on hair, and the pj, and house slippers? P U !
This is in your head, not in reality.

You are dressed in your PJ's. You're certainly not naked.

justify it to yourself but most people will judge a person in public wearing PJ's.

If someone can't put something else on I wouldn't want him over for coffee.

He certainly has no regards/respect for his neighbor or his neighbor's house.

My, you are judgmental of others (also evidenced in your other posts). Regardless, the neighbors love him for his kindness, sense of humor and helpfulness. I guess they think those traits are more important than wearing a time shirt and sweat pants.
