I also don't care for the look of a suit with dress shoes and no socks. The only men I know who have worn suits without socks are Italians from Italy.

Agree.

Just like women not wearing stockings/pantyhose, bare legs look.
What's good for the goose....

Exactly what makes you think that Louboutin loafers are meant to be worn without socks?

Agree. It also makes me wonder if they wear trousers without underwear?

Jesus. People will fight about anything on CD. Not taking the bait. If you want to wear socks with your Louboutins, knock yourself out.

I like the no socks look in those pics. My shoes would stink too much to pull it off though. I'd have to dump baby or talcum powder over my feet to keep them dry.

It's more of a casual look, though. I would never advise a man to go sockless when he is sitting on a panel like in the links you posted. There's too much emphasis on the ankle and it stands out in a bad way.

It takes a confident man to do it, though, or one who doesn't care about people commenting on their choices.
Definitely...I remember the preppy look back in the '80s - deck shoes with no socks was practically de rigeur for the guys!

I do that all the time. Except I actually wear socks, you just can't see them.

I usually work out of my house, but when I don't, my summer office attire is chino shorts, loafers with "no" socks (meaning, "not showing", and a polo shirt. It's really not something where socks would look very good, and I like to keep full toed shoes instead of flip flops so I can go into the manufacturing areas (better bathrooms, strangely). I used to wear similar to my yacht club for casual events, except with boat shoes, obviously. Even with long pants, in summer I wear socks that aren't visible.
