It has come to my attention that some women do not like long hair on men. I'm curious about why. My first loves had long hair, and I've gone out with a few long haired men since then. When a guy has nice hair, and it is long...It is sexy and rock and roll! Here are some of my favorites:

Oh Miles...still beautiful

Jang Moon Bok is 22 and he's a musician in SK. Nice silky hair. Beautiful lips and eyes. He kind of looks like a (stereotypical) native American guy.

1D is a thing of the past, and Harry is apparently a little man hoar, but so freaking cute. Not only long hair, but long, wild, wavy hair:

Depends on the guy and the type of hair they have. But yes, some guys can seriously rock a longer mane.....

I'm a guy but I'll answer anyways.

Back in the 80's I had hair that looked like Eddie Van Halen, LOL, I was just looking at old pics lately. It was cool as hell back then. I went short haired for many years, but a few years back I grew mine out without the layers and basically one length. I usually have it a pony tail and it's pretty long now, down to my lower/mid back.

I have a natural wave in it and it looks pretty good, it's not stringy like I sometimes see on both men and women.

IDK, some people look better with short hair, others can pull of the long hair, it just depends I guess.

I don't really see many guys at all in real life who have long hair. I don't mind longish hair on a guy, like shoulder length, but a lot of the guys with really long hair don't know how to take care of it.

Of course, I'm the mayor of Squaresville--I was a teenager in the 90s, and when Metallica all cut their hair I thought, "see, now they all look so much better!"

Love, love, love, men with long hair. It's sexy, primitive and animalistic. Men with short hair are invisible to me......sorry.

Just as with the beard thread, I don't mind long hair so much if it's well maintained ... washed, conditioned, regularly trimmed, etc. I don't like long hair if it's just an excuse to be lazy.

Nine times out of ten however, if a guy has long hair and then chops it off, I'll like the shorter style MUCH better.

It looks good on some younger men, if they have nice hair & look after it. What I do not like, is all these older men with white pony tails. I think it looks silly.

What I really can't stand are the busy unkempt beards. Those are the nastiest things. If a man wants a beard, then he needs to groom it & keep it clean, not as a soup strainer.

It looks ok .. perhaps even good on some men (those with thick-ish, slightly wavy, shoulder length hair for instance .. can be very sexy) .. but I abhor 'man-buns'. I have never seen a man on which those look good (my opinion only of course). I am also not partial to the party (long) in back and business (short) on the front look (is that called the mullet?). Braids .. not my thing either, nor is the tangled, dirty rastafarian look.

I do not like long hair on men. Just not a preference of mine. I don't know how else to explain it other than I do not find it attractive.

My husband has terrible hair so he keeps it short. When it starts to grow out, it looks clownish.

Depends on the age and quality of hair. The one look I find very unattractive is a balding man with greyish long, thin, scraggly pony tail. Nothing sexy about it, instead it just screams 'desperate'.
