I am 25 years old but with makeup I somehow look like I am still in high school. I am not sure why though because I do not use high school trends in makeup.

I do go to Sephora, but am basic with makeup - eyeshadow and mascara usually unless I feel like wearing foundation, powder, and blush.

I wear urban Decay eyeshadow, Sephora or Urban Decay mascara, Kat Von D foundation, Rimmel London powder, and Milani Blush (only one color, which is Romantic Rose).

I am not one to go over the top with makeup, and like my makeup basic and simple, so maybe everyone expects me to be over the top like everyone else?

You say you go to Sephora, but have you actually scheduled a consultation?

Do you look 25 without makeup?

be happy you look so young, embrace it. looking older is nothing special. one day you will look your age and miss the days you looked so much younger than you actually were. as for make up just try a bit of mascara and be done with it. again enjoy that fresh wrinkle free face it doesn't last forever.

Then don't use make up.

No I don't look 25 without makeup, so when I put on makeup, I try to make myself look 25 but fails.

Does having someone with more knowledge recommend colors, products, and techniques help? Um, yes. Moreso than asking strangers on a forum.

If you have a baby face, then you're still going have a baby face with makeup on. If you do want to look older, that probably has more to do with your entire look--hair, clothes, etc more so than just cosmetics.
