I think it boils down to whether you put your foot back down after putting on your sock. Lifting your feet only two times vs four times. Could be a real time saver.

wrist-watch is typically non-dominant hand. But in reality, whatever wrist you're more comfortable with.

Button from wherever you want. Top, Middle, Bottom. I'm not consistent with how I button. Probably most frequently I button from the top down though.

It does not make a lick of difference which way you button.

What did blow my mind was that women's buttons are on the other side. I found this out a few years ago. It's amazing I made it through ~35 years of life not knowing this.

Many manufacturers make watches for wearing on the right hand so that the crown is in the right position.

I'm both-handed actually. For example write with my left but use scissors with my right.

We need a poll.

With that said who wears a wrist watch? I have a timepiece in my pocket. It also doubles as a phone, camera and I can surf the net on it.

I think for spite, I will hereby button from the top and bottom, alternating as I go along.

I have always buttoned form top down. If I go from bottom up I end up wither mismatched or having skipped a button.

No one taught me that I know of. I just had to do it, so I did it.

Socks should go on first. That way you do not snag your underwear on a toenail. However if you have to sit to put your socks on, it also means you have to sit naked on a bench or bed, so if you do not have a towel to put down, go ahead and gamble with underwear first. But only if you are a big risk taker by nature.

Then you put on and button your shirt before pants. That way you do not have to undo your pants to tuck in your shirt.

However you should always put your hat on first of all.

For the record my mind is full of crcohet, yarn, fabric, crochet hooks, crochet patterns, who to aggrivate on the forum that day, crochet, yarn, fabric, crochet hooks, crochet patterns, who to aggrivate on the forum that day, crochet, yarn, fabric, crochet hooks, crochet patterns, who to aggrivate.....etc.etc.

Don't be so eager to use that great big broad general brush to paint a stereotype with, many of us will prove you wrong in more ways than one.
