On page 11 & the "ugly" OP, has yet to articulate even 1 feature that makes him so unattractive. No ethical plastic surgeon is gonna touch that with a 10 foot pole.

I'm not trying to say that being ugly is the worst thing in the world, but there are very real problems that one can potentially face by being born with bad looks..
Randomguy, there are pro-anorexia websites created by people who seek validation from others like them who are also killing themselves to look "good". These are people whose bones are showing, look like famine victims, and they're still looking to lose more weight. They don't need validation, they need help if they're going to get better.

I don't know your diagnosis, but it sounds like your image of yourself in your head isn't a realistic representation of how your body actually looks. Whether that's the case for you, no one but a mental health professional can say. If you saw a counselor and it wasn't working for you, it might have been a bad match (or the wrong diagnosis). I'd encourage you to try counseling again -- if it were me, I'd look for someone with a lot of experience working with folks on the OCD spectrum. Good luck.

Because I'm lazy and this isn't the place for it. Don't try to rouse the skunk. Google "physical attractiveness," and you'll find many links supporting my second claim. (You should do that if you value reality.) I don't know if claim 1 is directly supported, but from many things I've read I believe it is true. Claim 3 probably cannot be supported to any degree of certainty, mainly because people often cannot articulate what truly attracts them - but I lean cynical about human nature. I do admit that the evidence indicates women's attraction to men isn't as much physical as the other way around.

Randomguy isn't crazyguy - appearance is important. I agree that personality too is important, but it's never easy to change. Edit: I think what might be happening with him and other young people who are too hard on their looks is having gone through ugly-duckling phases around 12-15.

I have two Asian friends that got their eyes done. They look A LOT better now and have a lot of confidence too. My sister got her boobs done even though I really don't think she needed it. Good for them because they feel better. Bad, because all they want to do is take pictures of themselves when we go places. It gets embarrassing.

If there was some elective surgery that I can get done to improve myself, I would, but the things I want done can't be improved or not worth the risk IMO.

"Because they feel better"?
Spoiler
I'm a creepy male. And, actually, I hear those physically feel worse.

I think cosmetic surgery makes sense if it's affordable, corrects a deformity about as much as possible, or causes a significant visual improvement (or as part of a series of operations that will). I don't know that any of that applies here.

If people didn't think it made them look better, they wouldn't drop so much money to do it.

Did you really need the opinion of your dentist to tell you that your teeth are straight? Do you own a mirror?

Maybe they are straight and yellow, did you ask your dentist what color they are? Lots of people look down on yellow or brown stained teeth.

Of course, I just used that to make a point. Also, my teeth are white. I can see that they are and I brush them on a consistent basis.

Of course it can help. I follow Dr miami on snapchat and the before and afters are crazy. Of course it's mostly BBLs, Tummy Tucks, etc. so I guess they could still have a "meh" face.
But there is a line, too much is obvious and strange looking

Again, I definitely don't want to overdo it or make myself look strange. I am starting to be interested in getting work done on my nose, that may help my face out
