No. A friend walking with me was called ugly by a group of boys at the pool (they said something like "want to go out with me? Not the tall ugly one..." and she was about 4 inches taller than me). I can't say I've been called "hot" or "pretty" very often at all, either. I also haven't been called fat, and the only people to call me skinny have been much bigger than me (I'm not objectively skinny at all and never have been). Basically, I really haven't gotten much "public" attention for my looks one way or the other.
Oh yes. Back in junior high there was a trio of mean girls who routinely called me "dog face". Since I was born with a cleft lip, even though it was surgically repaired before I was one year old, being called "dog face" trashed my self-esteem for years.
Not "ugly", but my head is a little big for my body...always has been since I was a toddler. My Grandmother used to (lovingly) call me "Little Big Head Boy". My friends every now and then used to make fun of me...just in a friendly sort of way while growing up...nothing serious at all....I still had the good looking girlfriends in high school and in my younger days....and I kinda grew into it as I got older. My wife and kids will sometimes make jokes about my head size, but it's all in fun....
Yes. By an adult as a kid (my baseball coach, who I'm sure was joking, but having little confidence, it still hurt), females (always white ones) and a gay guy (I had that coming, though).
I attribute the females calling me 'ugly' to me being awkward with no confidence, I was actually a nice looking kid/young man and I guess they felt the need to pile on.
Anyway, as an adult I became more confident and wound up dating very good looking women and marrying a cutie pie.
I'm a redhead and my freckles were REALLY prominent when I was younger. I also wore the full-metal bracket style of braces, so I had a mouthful of metal for three years. And, well, red hair always attracts the bullies.
When I was in 5th and 6th grade, I attended Catholic school that had only about 25 students per GRADE level. Some brilliant twerp one day said to me, "Take off your mask. It's not Halloween." It stuck and spread, and I heard it frequently from the kids in my class for those two years. Then later, during my junior high years at a different school, my classmates called me "Pigpen" because my freckles made me look like I was always dirty.
Sure, during the teen years. I may have been called, or thought, ugly into adulthood, but nobody has said anything to me about it. lol
