How often do you buy new shoes?

When I was younger I used to go crazy, buying a new pair of sneakers almost every other week.

Past years I've slowed down, and buy a pair maybe every 6-8 months depending on wear. I love looking at sneakers online but just can't afford to splurge like before.

Not very often. I like wearing boots and I'm thinking about getting into roshes for the summer.

According to my husband, too often. His level of dissatisfaction depends on the heel height.

I love shoes...so probably more often than I care to admit to.

Once a year, sometimes twice. My feet don't change size and my shoes don't wear out, so I don't really need to buy any.

Depends. I just purchased to pair I had been searching for for TWO years. Found them both new in the box with tag on Ebay from the same seller. Nike Lunarsandiators. I won them and was just sooo happy. $400 for both. Ouch.

I'm not buying any shoes the rest of the year. #goalrealized

I buy athletic shoes when they wear to the point of being unsupportive.

I buy casual shoes often enough that I have a pair each of casual slip-ons, dress flats, boots, casual sandals, and dressy sandals in rotation that are in presentable condition at all times. When those get worn, I replace them.

I have semi-casual shoes for work Mon-Thu, one black one brown that last about two years. Then I have a pair of nice sneakers that I wear only to work on "casual Friday". Then I have another pair of sneakers for everyday use, which last a year at best, since I wear them every evening and weekend, including around the yard. I have hiking boots that I use only for their designed purpose, and they are probably 5 years old, and still in good shape. My nice sandals are used only for vacations to sunny places, and that's only 1-2 times a year so last for years.

Running shoes-about every three to six months because I wear them out. Every other shoe, as little as possible because I hate buying clothes.
