Where To Buy Nice Dresses?? (color, reviews, product, tone)

I am getting married in July of this year. We are eloping and will be getting married while flying in a helicopter over Niagra Falls. So I need to find a dress. I'm 50. I would like a light colored dress and a short one not too short but not a gown.

So please recommend some online and brick and mortar stores for me to try. Oh and I will also need shoes. Where is everyone buying shoes? I basically live in sneakers.

How exciting!
Choose something that has a bit fuller skirt & shoes with under a 2inch heel, so you can get easily into & out of the helicopter. I would look for "garden party" dresses.

I have looked at jjshouse and simply dresses and I have seen some nice dresses for under $150. So I think I should be able to easily do that

Are you looking for something that looks bridal, or are you just going for a decent dress that you could wear again?

I'd look at J.Crew, Ann Taylor, or maybe even Land's End might have something.

Out of all those I loved the sheath most, but think it would be difficult to get in & out of helicopter with it.

Pick color that goes with your skin tone & brings out your eyes. I liked the blush pink.

Also you might want another dress to wear on the trip & could pick somethimg more casual but still more dressed up than usual.
