You see it more at extremely fancy events, think academy awards, but I've seen tasteful (not too much) at clubs and such.

I've always found it a bit tasteless to run around wearing half a shirt. But I will never be a member of the fashion police - therefore will not infringe on anyone's fashion choices (though I will says it screams 'teenager' to me).

That said - such a style should be worn when you feel comfortable to do so. Shouldn't matter if others think it's a poor choice (specifically talking about body type and what's 'acceptable').

I think they are technically in style right now but personally...at the beach or at home. But if you're comfortable with it then at the club, or any casual setting. I just wouldn't at work or professional places.
