I'm not terribly fashionable. I'd buy two nice suits that are tailor-fitted, a set of conservative-casual "around the town" clothing, workout clothing, a pair of sneakers, a pair of loafers. And find an alterations store so the casual stuff fits nicely. I'd have plenty of money left over.

I would buy a beautiful couture gown I would never otherwise even get to touch in my lifetime. Probably Valentino or Zuhair Murad or Cristian Siriano.

I would go to 3 different major department stores and perhaps get someone to help me (such as a personal shopper).

No, but they DO sell 100% cotton fabric with some funky designs, from which you can MAKE clothing....and I thought someone would dispute The SPCA and The Home Depot (both sell wearable products).
I like to think outside the box and have fun with fashion.

Victoria's Secret is terrible quality. Why, if you have extra money, would you waste it on low end lingerie like Victoria's secret so many better choices out there.

Agent Provacateur, Cosabella, Natori, Chantelle - and these are just mainstream ones.
