I have noticed over the past few years it is really common, for mostly women, to wear "nude" colored, white shoes and other light colored shoes with dark denim, black pants and other dark colored items.
I am sort of old fashioned and like to wear dark shoes with dark clothes and lighter shoes with lighter clothing. I generally just wear black shoes as my default.
I am not sure how I feel about this look - i.e. camel shoes with black pants and the like.
I do it all the time. I'll wear any color shoes with jeans or dark pants--I tend to think black is boring, so I have silver, taupe, red, green, etc. flats/sandals/boots

I wear black jeans a lot and i will wear lighter to medium brown dress shoes, white sneakers (chucks, vans, asics, etc.), camel colored boots etc. In fact one of my favorite looks over the years is stark white high top chucks and black jeans. i just enjoy the contrast.

I am wearing this look today. I did not even really think of it as a look, but it works. I know Kim K and her troup often pull off this look. I think is works. I did not intentionally put these items together ... lol I was in a hurry and they were the nearest shoes that might work next to the door.
Since I'm 5'1" tall I like a clean, unbroken look between my pants & shoes so if I'm wearing black pants I will be wearing black shoes. Short people are always advised to go monochromatic to look taller. However I would do the nude pump with dark jeans.
