I'm a guy. I don't know about this stuff. A few months ago I got a blackhead on my cheek probably from my sunglasses.
I foolishly let it go. Now skin has grown over it. I messed with it the other day and too much skin had grown over it to accomplish anything other than get it really irritated.
Try a product with Salicylic Acid. Apply twice a day or as directed. If that doesn't help, I'd see a dermatologist rather than risk scarring yourself or getting an infection.

I realize this is about a month old, but another thing you can try is, sterilize a pin or a needle, and break the skin over the black head. THEN dab the blackhead with salicylic acid or hydrogen peroxide. In most cases like that, it'll be gone overnight.
