NO to toupees!! I'd rather see a nice bald head. Oh and NO comb overs either to hide a bald top, they are simply ridiculous looking.

You make a good point. A good toupee will cost a bundle. It doesn't change, but a guy's hair does. I've seen plenty of unblended toupees on guys.

I think it is best to own your look, and to project confidence.

Lol. You sound like the people who think they can tell 100% who is gay because they think it's all flamers and rainbow suspenders.

You can spot the BAD hair pieces a mile away.

You have no clue about the GOOD ones.

And sorry, bald is much better on men with certain head shapes. Absolutely hideous on others. And there are infinite gradations in between.

No toupees or comb-overs. If you're going bald, keeping it cut short or shaving it off looks best to me.

Yes, my nephew went bald in his 20's---completely. It does NOT look good on him. He looks like a very old man. His brother also has quite thinning hair at 23. I find this sad. To add insult to injury, their father has a full head of hair at 70. That has GOT to rankle!

I guess the genes came from our side. My father was bald in his 20's and had his head closely shaved like 1/4". No fringe. Then in his 50's he did a 180 and got a toupee. It was expensive and he had to replace it a couple times as his own hair whitened. He always worried on windy days.

It's like plastic surgery, probably. Good jobs won't be noticed but bad ones will.

I have a buddy that is bald, keeps whatever hair he has left in a buzz cut but he wears a ball cap (everywhere). He said most women simply assume he is bald under that ball cap (which he is). Country singer Cole Swindell does this "ball cap" look for the same reason.

So does singer/actor Dwight Yoakam. He has for years--since his youthful burst onto the scene in the early to mid-80s.

Ted Danson's wig was the least detectable I've seen among celebs.

Overall, I don't like the look. Bald is better. No comb-overs either, please.
