Hello, all! I want to know which kind of color do you prefer in the hot Summer, light or deep? Some of the friends around me said that they're always loving the light or deep color no matter what season. But some said they love to wear deep color in Winter and light color in Summer, because of the seasons. Personally, I love the light color in Summer and just some deep color in Winter. So, what about you? Share me your points, thank you
I live in SW Florida where it's hot and humid from June-October. I try to wear lighter colors this time of year to reflect the light. A few years ago my boys and I went to Busch Gardens in Tampa on a rather warm day. I was wearing a white top and they were both wearing black t-shirts. Guess who was not sweltering?
In the cooler months I wear a lot of black and jewel tones.
I generally like brights and patterns. If I am somewhere hot I'll make sure my patterns have a light background. Where I live summer weather is mild so there isn't a huge differentiation between summer weather and fall/spring.
I do end up like florals a lot more starting spring. And I usually don't wear those dresses during the rest of the year.
I have a bunch of shirts in many different colors that I wear year-round, although most of my shirts are lighter shades, especially light shades of pink such as Fairy Tale. I typically stock up on clothing when IZOD introduces their spring collections, while I mostly ignore the fall collections.
Now, I like to theme a bit on holidays. For example, I always wear red on Christmas, pink on Valentine's Day and Easter, and green on St. Patrick's Day. I am considering wearing either red, white, or blue on the Fourth of July.
