Then after many years of that, I just got tired of it. Weekends were for being lazy (and not applying makeup!), but hubby was always asking me to run to Lowe's or Home Depot with him and wouldn't wait for me to apply makeup. I started giving it up to go there. Then stopped altogether. Well, except if we're going out in the evening. I don't work outside the home, though. That might've kept me using it for much longer. I'm early 50s. Thank goodness for a good complexion. I do curl my eyelashes and put on a dap of colored lip balm to feel more than just a bum, though :-)
This pretty much says it for me. I used to not walk out the door without make up but now, I mostly wear brow pencil and lip gloss and sometimes a bit of eye liner. But a lot of the time I don't wear any, and that's even with working in a regular job. But I do wear it for special occasions and I'd definitely miss my brow pencil! But for $1M, I'd make that sacrifice.

One little year? No makeup? A cool million? You bet your sweet behind I would!

And I look like hell with no makeup. I'm not real big in the confidence department, but I think just knowing in the back of my mind that I'd be rolling in all that $$$ after a year of doing NOTHING to deserve it would give me a little boost.

For some of us, makeup is not vanity, it is preemptive self-defense.
Not a man.
No perfect complexion.
Just wear moisturizer.

I wouldn't like it, but for a million bucks? I would do it.

That's easy, because I hardly ever wear it. I've had quite a few men tell me over the years how refreshing it was to see a woman who didn't feel the need to wear it. It gives me the impression that most men prefer the natural look.

Yes. Though it would be difficult to not wear anything for the workweek and special events, I would suck it up and do it.
