So I was reading a topic about the Dani Mathers, the woman that took a nude picture of a 70 year old woman in the gym and she herself is a former playboy playmate.

It got me wondering, do you think when it comes to women that model or do something like being a playboy playmate these women may have looks but no brains? Stereotype, I know, but do you think there is any truth to it generally speaking?

Many (if not most) stereotypes are based on fact.
Oh, sure, the models who created the stereotype may be few and far between, but at some point there were enough of them that the stereotype developed.
Now, if the question was changed to: "Does the beautiful but dumb stereotype still hold true in today's world?" I would have to say "I doubt it!" Women today are breaking the molds all over the place. There are many women who are both beautiful and brainy, and most of them don't wear glasses (but some do).
Remember the old saw; "Men don't make passes at girls who wear glasses!"? That hasn't been true for many years.

This isn't the same thing, but I tend to believe that more attractive people are smarter.

Generally, I think women who have more to go on than their looks would want more out of life than only be eye candy. Doesn't mean all models are stupid, and they very well may be using what they've got to travel and earn money so that they can do better things later on.

I would characterize that particular person as having looks but no heart. She's an overgrown "mean girl" who never matured beyond HS, it would seem

Models, as in, all models? Of course not. The models I know, and the few I worked with ages ago, do not fit this stereotype.

Brooke Shields went to Princeton. Cindy Crawford was a high school valedictorian and won a chemical engineering scholarship to Northwestern. Claudia Schiffer and Beverly Johnson both started out with law school ambitions. Yaya DaCosta went to Brown. Christy Turlington went to NYU and then got a Masters at Columbia. Iman is fluent in 5 languages.

On the other hand, Dani Mathers has zero brains, and she would have zero beauty without the silicone, collagen, botox, bleach, fillers, and pancake makeup.

I think excessive attention on appearance probably stems from a lack of interest in other things. I mean, wouldn't an intellect spend time reading or learning or experiencing something rather than shopping for designer clothes or having their hair done for hours multiple times per week?

I once heard someone say that everyone has 100%. If 90% is looks, you don't have much left over for brains.

Of course, that's not true. There are plenty of intelligent and attractive people and there are unattractive and ignorant people too.

It depends on what a person chooses or has the ability to focus on.
