Seriously, I never understood why the fashion industry thought women wanted pants that made them look like they'd put their pants on backwards.

That depends on whether they're khaki khakis, or navy khakis, or maroon, or black. I think the OP is looking at khakis from a too-limited perspective. OP! Get jiggy with them!

It's just you. There's nothing wrong with khakis.

LOL, I was thinking more for men.

As a woman, there's no question of never wearing pleated pants. Just, no.

Pleats for all of you!

I'm not too keen on the really light colored khakis.

Why can't they really put out there wrinkle free pants for women like they do for men? Is that because I supposedly don't mind ironing? I hate those clothes that wrinkle no matter what you do---they just EXIST wrinkled.

Okay, continue complaining about khakis.

Dungarees are built tough, for blue collar workers and longshoremen. Now that slacks are out of style khaki pants are the sensible choice for white collar workers. They may not be as tough but they are more relaxed and comfortable. Wear what suits your lifestyle.

I... I am sorry. <shamefully tightens the cilice deftly concealed by my blousy, pleated khakis>
