Sure. Many people do. It's how many trends start lol
Usually it's celebs I see sporting someone I would like. But I rarely act on getting whatever it is, because it either wouldn't look as good on me, or I wouldn't ever have the occasion to wear it.
Yes. I saw a woman wearing a dress years ago and I caught up with her and asked where she got it. I went right to the boutique and bought the only other one (they had only received two). I loved it! It was my favorite dress for a long time. It was in the 90s- think grunge patchwork floral. Boy did I love grunge-wear...all the babydoll dresses, floral, batiks, tights and boots. So much fun!
I also had a friend wear a dress that I bought after seeing it on her. (I didn't see her much so I didn't worry about it.) I went hunting for that dress and found it. I got so many compliments on it. It was so pretty. Also in the 90's.
Whether that be someone walking down the street or a celebrity.
Yes a pair of LV loafers after seeing a bloke where them whilst I was on a night out.... They looked the nuts!
Obviously I've seen a few shirts, jeans etc and thought they were and bought them if I saw them when shopping but ^^^^ I went out specially to find the next morning even with a naughty hang over.
Not sure if this counts. When I was in school my classmate had these boots that I loved (and I typically don't like boots). I asked her where she got them and she told me. I asked her if she would be annoyed if I bought them and wore them too at school and she laughed and said go right ahead. We still talk lol.
Totally. i kept seeing people wearing workout pants with mesh panels as leggings. I thought it looked cool and I found a pair at old navy for that purpose!
I am sure there are tons of things I was inspired by over the years.
That is the only reason I follow fashion blogs - for ideas.
I don't copy word for word, but definitely think about giving something interesting I saw on another person my own spin.
Yep, I stopped a woman in a restaurant one time and asked her where she got her jacket, and then I went straight to the store and bought one in my size. Still have it, still love it - it was sort of a boho look and I don't know whether it's still in style or not but I don't care!
Absolutely, but never celebs - just don't follow any of that. It's always when I'm out, I'll see someone with a certain outfit, shoes, purse etc and think wow that is really cute. Then I try to find something similar.
The only thing I have ever come close to this is a cardigan and I found it but did not like the fit of it when I put it on so the cardigan stayed at the shop but truth be told I do not need another cardigan, jacket, cape, cover, cloak or anything related to that type of clothing item.
So far only with a bathing suit I saw on someone down by the pool but I rarely see people walking around where I live that are so fashionable that I have to stop them and ask where they got their outfit.
