Are there any web sites or stores for petite ladies size 18? I am a short, 71 yr old lady. I am not really very fat, but I am hard to fit. I wonder what happened to all the cute petite dresses?

Does anyone know where there are cute inexpensive clothes for larger petites?

I was looking for websites.

I don't know of any that are particularly inexpensive, but Catherine's and Talbots offer women's petites. Catherine's petite sizes start at 14W and Talbots starts at 12W. Dress Barn has women's sizes that seem like they have more of a petite fit, narrower in the shoulders and the shirts aren't as long.

I am large petite and I found any store that truly caters to petite has all the size. That means all the department store: Kohls, jcpenny, Macy, Nordstrom..etc are good place to start. I find it easier to shop online and then return what I dont like in store as many dont have all the size in stock.

Few of the other real petite store has all the size including XL such as old navy, gap, loft...

The place where I didn't find my clothes were the teenager store like forever21, rainbow,.. They domt have petite size but most skinny petite can find things in those stories. But for larger petite its nightmare. Even shops like Express and Ny&Co who have semi petite line are difficult to find clothes for larger petite.

I gave up on physical stores a long time ago. Try Bedford Fair online, which will link you to a number of sites that carry a nice variety of affordable (and long wearing) clothes for your size.

I especially like their denim shorts. Comfortable and wear like iron.
