This is hilarious. And a lot of this year's trendy suits range from impractical to impossible.

That's not what I've been seeing online. I've been seeing bikinis that are so tiny and low-slung, they look like the bottom is falling off. They look like shrunken underwear, or something.

There have always been stringy little bikinis and suits that offer the minimum of coverage, but those aren't the only swimsuits out there. If you care more about function and modesty than being on the cutting edge of fashion, you can still find a good swimsuit.

All I could do was laugh at the pictures. WHO will want those tan lines??? I don't expect to see them on the beaches.

I have seen so many off the shoulder suits. And tons of the variants on the cutouts. I saw one that looked cute, I ordered it. And it was an epic fail. Really hard to get on. And then it was just too big in the wrong places.

I have a yet unworn suit, hopefully I hit the pool at some point. It was a stretch for me to get!

"A swimsuit shouldn’t require wardrobe assistants." That line cracked me up. My mother gave me a beautiful one piece "Miracle Suit" that she bought for a cruise and never wore. It's beautiful - the problem is it is like trying to pull up a full Spanx bodysuit. I need an assistant to pull it up in the back and since I live alone it sits in my drawer waiting, waiting, waiting...

Yes, most of these suits are impractical unless you are going to a pool party after 6 p.m. and aren't concerned about weird tan lines. Did you notice the faces of the models? They looked like they had just smelled something disgusting.

I'm glad I'm old and happily married and not a young buck in these times. Imagine having to pull out a youtube video or an instruction manual to try and figure out how to undo some of those things.

I get my swimsuits at Omar the Tentmaker these days. The only problem is that he has started charging by the yard....

Does this generation like weird tan lines or something? The strings aren't bad, but stripes would be awful!
