You ladies should get something like this:

My lady is 47 but I know she'd look great in it!
No thanks. Skank is not my style.

LOL I was just kidding. But seriously, a lot of women in said age group still look great in a two piece bikini.

My woman is 47 and she has worn them albeit in her backyard pool and she looks great!

More power to her, but for me, at age 49 and a size 20 (not 2), I couldn't stand to have that lacy thong suppressing my fartblossom.

Longitude is my favorite brand. I also like for the suit to be chlorine resistant, otherwise 5 times in the water and it is finished. I exercise in the water three times a week. I am thinking about making that five times a week.

Get a bra sized suit. Panache, Freya and more make them. Check out Brastop.com.

Surprisingly I got a suit s/m/l/xl sizing from forever21 with underwire last year. It doesn't fit perfect, but it is decent enough and work for a casual swim.

I am at my correct weight. I don't live at the gym. I'm small, and I could wear a Junior size 5 if I wanted, and yes, I could wear a bikini. I mean it would fit me. But after giving birth to a 22" 10 lb. baby via C section, I wisely choose not too.

Perhaps I should have lowered the age from 45, but I didn't want to insult anyone. A friend of mine is 42 and just gave birth to her last baby - so there are women in their 40s who are not done with child bearing.

There are also women who have never given birth.

I think *most* honest women would agree that AGE CHANGES a woman's body. Babies or not.
I'm having a baby tomorrow, at 40. I've also worn skirted suits since I was a teen with a teen body. Just more flattering on me.

I currently have this one, love it.

I used to feel a little self conscious until I noticed all the very overweight gals in tiny bikinis including one who is probably 60 and wears the tiniest bikini I ever saw and she has got what looks like a barrel around her midsection. I thought if they can do it so can I!
Soooooo true! On vacations I see women in their 70's wearing swimsuits so old and stretched out that they could have been purchased in the '70s! And many are wearing bikinis.
