I really like the Van Gogh Neverfull but I certainly would not pay double the regular price for it.

I understand it is Jeff Koons and all but $3K for that bag is even hard for me to swallow and I own Hermes.

That's supposed to be the whole point of art: it speaks to YOU. So you just have to decide which one speaks to you in a way you can't ignore.

It really shouldn't matter what we all think.

You know with all these people saying they dont like it I hope it helps drive the demand and cost down so I can get a discount lol. Though I doubt LV has clearance sales on items they label collectors items. I am still working on getting a Hermes bag.... but the bag in the LV shop window keeps calling my name and whispering .... bye me. It it smiling at me and I am smiling back !

Former Bag Hag here. Then traveling became my obsession.

LV sends all the unsold bags back to Paris and shreds them. Wish I was joking but its a good way to keep prices high.

The problem is that that are all screaming buy me! I really like them all. If I get one I am going to walking away from the store and still be looking back with a broken heart . I am equating this to choosinv between 5 people to be in a relationship wity but you can only choose one. You are attracted to all 5 .... but can only commit to one.

That is disgusting. I am going to puke. It is like bag genocide! A crime against fashion! Now I feel it is my moral obilgation to save these works of art from being slaughtered! Crazy!!!

Love is a funny thing.

Designer bags are like men.
There are just so many options out there.

So 5 hot options were out there competing for my attention and cash...... when just by chance I stumbled across a not so common vintage Dior Bag.....it cost 95% percent less. Needs some repair work.... but it is a wicked cool bag.

Long live the resale world !

LV ...I think I I will hold out for now

But it I was going to buy .. I would be going with the Ruben Speedy as of tonight. Why? I think large vicious cats ate more reflective of my style.

All hideous in my opinion, but taste is a very personal thing. I have plenty of money, but I find it unthinkable that people are such suckers as to spend that much on a purse. When I feel a need to get rid of a few thousand dollars, I give it to someone who needs it, not a retailer. I just happen to have a real aversion to expensive purses, shoes, clothes, etc. I buy nice things, but after a certain price point, it seems show-off-y and stupid, IMO. But that's just me.
