It is really amazing how different women can look with just a little bit of makeup. (girls, head)

Oh, God, me too and I totally ROCKED that look for a long time!! Now in my 60s, I have to keep it simple. But at least I do have dark brown eyes and darker lashes, but I still need a bit of liner to keep them looking "open" lol.
I forgot my second-favorite look -- Cher in the 70's with the spikey/feathery false eyelashes! We all wore false lashes every day, even to work. It was actually much faster to put on the lashes rather than curl and put several coats of mascara on. A few years ago, that look came back in and I tried to use lashes again, even just individual lashes, BUT -- one of my lids sags, so the lashes make it look even worse, plus I wear glasses and the lashes hit the glass. Darn! However, I do NOT like the current eyelash extension look, which appears very heavy and unnatural.

That's what they all say - until the woman actually takes her make up off. You really should see some of the celebrities without their make up. Perhaps most shocking is someone like Gwen Stefani, Anna Kournikova, and especially Pamela Anderson.
Don't shock me at all - they look just like you and I! I've actually told past dates: No makeup or cigarettes if you want to get in this car!

Haha - you and I are sisters under the skin! I too, loved Cher's whole "look". Cher in the 70s was just awesome - her makeup, hair and beautiful gowns she would wear. I too, do not like the eyelash extension look with all the heavy makeup, plus it's bad for your eyes and lashes. Looks bad on a woman my age, too unless you are Cher or in a burlesque show!

This always comes up with the makeup conversation, but to many women, telling them not to wear makeup is the same thing as telling them what to wear. So I imagine that many women would be getting right out of your car upon hearing that. Sure, some women overdo things, and that's entirely their choice, but most women wear makeup because it makes them feel confident and comfortable (and creative.) They don't care whether you approve or not.

It is a pressure put upon women, to this day, by society, including heels high enough to give one a nose-bleed - a podiatrist's dream. And the first line of resistance to these pressures is women themselves, with the backing a few good men.
As a teenager I was very shy and makeup helped me hide behind who I was. it really did.. I wouldnt leave the house without it...as I thought I looked plain without it.. eye makeup did it for me. made me have glamour ... and I wore it for many years, now as Im older its much less but never leave the house without some brown liner and mascara.

Me too.
I'm fair so a little is good but I find less is more. I always appreciate the nude tones. They are perfect for me.
I see our clinic is offering an eyeliner tattoo service. Seems that might be good for older women but I can't imagine how it is done without causing excruciating pain and dangerous health situations.
LOL well to guys the cat eye part is the only thing that we'd notice.
Yeah...but it's not subtle AT ALL so I'm surprised your impression is that the makeup is "natural". Just goes to show that when guys SAY they like women who don't wear makeup they really don't have a clue what they're talking about. Never believe a guy who says such things because he may be shocked the next time you surprise him with absolutely no makeup on!
