I'm curious what cologne most of the men here prefer, and also which cologne wives or girlfriends prefer on their husbands and boyfriends? I'm also curious what perfumes women prefer for themselves, or what their husbands or boyfriends like on them?
I like for myself:
Obsession for Men
Joop
Boucheron
Jovan Musk Oil (believe it or not!)
(I'm going to a department store to buy Obsession and Joop Friday as I haven't bought any for a few years and I'm long out)
For women I like:
Happy (I love the smell of Happy on women. The men's version makes me puke).
White Shoulders
Chanel 5 or 19
Nina Ricci
I like for women Amarige, Organza, Passion, Vera Wang. I'm allergic to White Diamonds. Perfume smells VERY strong on my mother, one drop on her and it smells like she spilled the bottle.
Not sure what I like on men, my husband doesn't wear it and I haven't smelled any mens cologne in ages.

Yeah it's about time I get out and do the smell thing for some new colognes. After about 5 smells it all starts to blend then I get confused. There's alot of different colognes out that I like but I don't have a clue as to their names.I'll have to try out the Paul Sebastian is that his only cologne?

Me too. I never get compliments from women when I wear Joop, but I like it a lot and when I have it, I am perfectly happy to sniff myself...lol. I do get compliments from Obsession, but I wear very little of any cologne when I wear it. You know the right amount if you start with very little, yet people notice it on you. A little goes a very long way I think.

MoMark, everytime I see you mention Jovan,it cracks me up.I just can't believe that stuff is still out there.Sorry,I'm not making fun of you, hope you don't take it that way.
My husband has never cared about my perfume, until I discovered Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker. He LOVES it. I can't smell myself ever after I use perfume. No matter what brand. This is nice, it's not at all strong,
