I absolutely can relate. I'm 11W. Try finding that at the Mall.
I suggest you go to Shoes at Zappos.com - dress shoes, casual shoes, and athletic shoes, shoe store where you can sort for your size, you can read reviews about the fit of any given shoe, and if you order today, it will be on your doorstep tomorrow morning (don't know how they do it). I believe return shipping is free, too.

Thank you again for the replies and suggestions. I was at the mall the other day trying to find some shoes I like but didn't really come across anything good. Why do the designers make shoes so narrow??? I'm short and skinny but I have these big feet that look like sausages in some of the shoes. I wish I was tall like a supermodel so at least my feet would be in proportion to my body. I'm probably just too self concious (although my husband has pointed out I have big feet and has made jokes on occasion, thanks sweetie.)

I also have a wide foot and have difficulty finding shoes. I have run across some wide shoe sizes at Payless Shoes. You might try there for some summer styles. Also, if the have a DSW shoe store near you, they have a large selection of shoes, including some in wide sizes.

Do you think they make Manolo's for wide feet? LOL
If I could afford it and I had cute skinny feet then I would definetly buy some. My husband said shoes that expensive should even make a man's foot look beautiful.

I WISH they made Manolo's for wide feet! But you should check out Stuart Weitzman if you're looking for higher end shoes in wide sizes. They're expensive but well made.

Nordstroms. If they don't have it in the store in your size they will order it for you.

Yes, I mentioned Nordstrom's way back in post #4.

But as Luv says, if only there were a Nordstroms nearby.
I ordered a pair of shoes from them online, and the width was great but the shoes were a bit too long.
This is the agony of having hard-to-fit feet. Ordering any kind of clothing is a pain, but with wide feet, buying shoes by mail is a PITA.

Recently I visited the Nordstrom's in San Francisco.
Unfortunately, all my favorite shoes were either unavailable in Wide or they were upwards of $170.
::sigh::
