Anyone can wear whatever they want. They just have to realize there might be consequences.

When I was 50 I had a girlfriend of 40. She was the hottest woman I ever knew and she maintained it for many years. I'd still like to see her in hot pants and a croptop.

Speaking as someone nearing 70 there are a lot of very hot 60 somethings out there.

I love the hypocrisy of this topic

So, did you inform her of your status as a member of the fashion police and have her arrested, or did you just give her a citation?

Seriously, I am certain you have more pressing matters in your life than to dictate other's apparel choices.

I had to post this. This woman is 89 and still doing high level gymnastics:

I don't know if I would want to see her in a tube top and booty shorts, but she's seriously more in shape than many women half her age. Goes to show you you can have a great bod at any age if you work at it.

Jesus, what a bunch of judgey mcjudgertons. In no way shape or form should anyone be allowed to police what women wear based on how arbitrarily “attractive” some bitter old slob thinks they are. Worry about yourselves and stop trying to police women’s bodies.

I see it as a way of just playing with the ego
society is one big cesspool of dissolution and the women feel as though they should accentuate their features and toy with the minds of men
but honestly I hate all men they should keep it up

I think young fit women look nice in very skimpy, though modest, outfits. It’s the time of life to rejoice in looking cute in a bikini or very short shorts, etc. my granddaughter is 20 and very thin, so looks nice in these things. My daughter in law is 30 and has a very toned body and wears these type of clothes also. They look appropriate.

I know older women who still have nice legs, etc., but to me it still doesn’t look appropriate for them to wear skirts too short. Or necklines too low. Gravity doesn’t lie.

No matter what the age, cover the bad stuff up, and highlight the good stuff.

If you are in fabulous shape I'd say you might be able to get away with it till 50. Then let it go and be happy with yourself and embrace your age and where you are at in life.

The other thing I hate is ripped up jeans. OMG WHY?

I hate the cut-out sleeve hanging down the arm..on any age....same with those obnoxious leggings with bold prints...look in the mirror pleeze
