I don't need a watch, I just look at my phone.

A Rolex is a statement of wealth and the fact you want everybody to know you can afford one. Tacky.

I think they look nice, but they are way spendy. I have two watches I wear often. One is an old school Gucci, the kind with the lizard band, and the other is a silver-toned Hello Kitty watch.

I wear a Tag Heuer Aquaracer; it was a gift and I work in a facility where phones are not allowed in many areas.

My husband wears a plain stainless Rolex Submariner that he has had since before I met him.

Um, no. My Timex watch tells time just as well and cost me I think $20.

(And no chance of getting mugged over it! )

I wouldn't know a Rolex from a Timex. I haven't worn a watch in 20+ years and the last one I had was a Swatch! I doubt I'd like them though because I could never get over thinking about what important things I could do with the money they cost.

Are there Rolex watches that have a more feminine look? The one you posted just looks way too big and clunky and masculine to me. I would not mind wearing an expensive watch, but I'd prefer one like these:

Tiffany Cocktail 2-Hand Pavé 21 x 34 mm women's watch in 18k rose gold. | Tiffany & Co.

or even this, which has a feminine twist to it: https://www.jomashop.com/omega-const...276055005.html

Honestly, I've never paid attention to anyone's watch. I don't have a problem with someone spending tons of money on a watch, just as I don't care if a woman wears an expensive diamond ring, but I just pay a lot more attention to someone's personality than the baubles. And I've read that watches in general are a lot less popular than they used to be, especially for millennials, because they just look at their phones for the time.

I love my little Seiko solar watch, because I never have to change its battery.
