Birkenstock...How good a shoe??

I only have the sandals ("earth sandals" or something). I wouldn't wear clogs or mules of any brand, if my life depended on it. They are very unflattering and make feet look big and clunky, like those Dutch clogs or cartoon characters.

I have fallen arches and pretty much live in Birkenstocks (hey, I’m from Vermont). They can be uncomfortable when they are first breaking in, but once the footbed molds to your feet, they are super comfortable.

Birkenstocks are the sandals that you keep for a few years. Very comfortable, and just good for your feet.great materials used!

I can’t wear them. Perhaps if your feet hit the right spots they offer good support, but the bumps in the footbed do not hit my feet in the right places.
